One appliance and crew from Buckingham, one from West Ashland and one from Banbury attended.
Smoke was visible from some distance when they arrived.
Around two acres of cut straw was on fire.
The firefighters used:
- A farmer’s tractor
- Beaters
- Water backpacks
A national grid engineer attended to deal with an electricity wire which had come down.
