One crew from West Ashland attended a field where a fire involving cut grass was producing a large amount of smoke.
Fire fighters used two hose reel jets and beaters to extinguish the fire.
Firefighters spent time turning over and damping down to ensure the fire was fully extinguished, with thermal conditions monitored throughout.
