One crew from Newport Pagnell attended, along with a wildfire unit from West Ashland.
Firefighters were called to three unattended bonfires which had spread to two agricultural trailers and the remainder of the field (measuring approximately 1 hectare). Firefighters extinguished the fire which had destroyed approximately 50% of the field.
Firefighters used:
- One hose reel jet
- Two beaters
- A thermal imaging camera
