One crew from West Ashland, one crew from Broughton and a wildfire unit from West Ashland attended a fire in the open involving grassland and trees.
Firefighters used three hose reel jets, water backpacks and leaf blowers to extinguish the fire. Firefighters took time damping down the area.
Two crews from West Ashland re-inspected the scene later on in the day.
