One crew from Broughton, one crew from West Ashland, one crew from Newport Pagnell, two crews from Leighton Buzzard, a water carrier from Broughton and one crew from Buckingham attended a fire in the open involving dense vegetation measuring approximately 100 metres by 150 metres.
Firefighters used extended hose reel jets, water backpacks and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire and identify hotspots.
Crews remained on scene to carry out extensive damping down, turning over and hotspot checks.
