Three crews from West Ashland and one crew from Broughton attended a fire in woodland involving vegetation and refuse.
Firefighters used one set of breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and one main jet to extinguish the fire.
Crews remained on scene for a considerable time damping down hotspots and ensuring the affected area was made safe.
