Seven appliances and crews, along with three officers attended at the height of the fire.

The appliances and crews were from:

  • Beaconsfield
  • High Wycombe
  • Gerrards Cross
  • Bracknell
  • Maidenhead
  • Amersham

A large area of refuse, approximately 50 metres by 20 metres, was alight when they arrived.

The firefighters used:

  • One set of breathing apparatus
  • Four hose reel jets
  • Two dams
  • Respirators masks
  • On-site machinery

Crew reinspected the location to check for hot spots.
