Three crews (two from High Wycombe, Watlington) alongisde two officers attended.
Firefighters were called to five vehicles involved in a road traffic collision, where two persons were medically trapped. Six adults sustained minor injuries and one child sustained minor injuries and they were handed into the care of Helicopter Emergency Medical Services and South Central Ambulance Service.
A full motorway closure was put into place by Thames Valley Police and National Highways.
