Three crews attended (two from West Ashland, one from Broughton), along with an officer.

Firefighters were called to, and extinguished, a fire affecting two garages. Firefighters removed tiles from the garage roof. One garage was damaged 100% by fire, the other garage was approximately damaged 10% by fire.

Firefighters used:

  • Six sets of breathing apparatus
  • Two hose reel jets
  • Two short extension ladders
  • Small gear
  • A thermal imaging camera

A crew from West Ashland carried out a reinspection of the incident using a thermal imaging camera (all temperatures appeared cool).
