Three crews (West Ashland, Newport Pagnell, Broughton) alongside two officers attended.
Firefighters were called to a double garage fire.
The garage (six metres by three metres) was 60% damaged by fire, 100% damaged by smoke. A car stored inside the garage was 100% damaged by fire. Fire had spread to a nearby conservatory and was also damaged by fire.
Firefighters used:
- Two breathing apparatus sets
- One hose reel jet
- One main jet
- One thermal imaging camera
- Short extension ladder
The gas and electric supplies were isolated by firefighters.
Firefighters remained on scene damping down and cutting away.
One crew from Newport Pagnell returned to the incident at 7pm to carry out a reinspection and found no hotspots.
