Two crews from West Ashland attended a fire in the rear garden of a property involving a shed and other wooden outdoor structures, which were well alight on arrival.
Crews used one hose reel jet, a thermal imaging camera and small gear to extinguish the fire.
Firefighters safely rescued one dog, one guinea pig and three tortoises from the garden. All animals were uninjured and left in the care of their owners.
Crews carried out damping down and monitoring before leaving the scene.
