Three crews (Two West Ashland, Broughton) were in attendance.
Firefighters were called to and extinguished a heavy goods vehicle tractor unit on fire in a landfill site.
Firefighters used:
- Two Breathing apparatus sets
- Two hose reel jets
- Two thermal imaging cameras
- Hydraulic equipment
- One short extension ladder
- Onsite excavator
The heavy goods vehicle was 100% damaged by fire, the trailer had approx 20% damage.
