The water rescue unit from Newport Pagnell, a fire engine and crew from Broughton, one from Aylesbury, a rescue unit and crew from Kidlington and the animal rescue unit from Aylesbury attended, along with one officer.
The firefighters worked with a vet to help release a large house which had become trapped in a ditch with a bog at its base.
The firefighters used wide area flooding kit, small tools and the animal rescue unit to release the horse which was left in the care of the owner and a vet.
