One appliance and crew from High Wycombe and the large animal rescue unit from Aylesbury attended, along with an officer.
The rear legs of a horse had become trapped in the gap between a horsebox and its access ramp.
The horse was sedated by the vet. The firefighters used:
- Hydraulic spreaders
- Cutting gear
- Animal rescue equipment
The horse was left in the care of its owner and the vet.
