Two crews from Aylesbury, one from Thame, along with two officers attended.
Crews were called to a fire located on the ground floor of a house. They rescued a man and dog from the first-floor of the property. They used two sets of breathing apparatus, one 10.5 metre ladder, a recip saw, an enforcer and a positive pressure ventilation fan.
The man was passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
