Two appliances and crews from West Ashland and one from Bedfordshire attended, along with an officer.
Smoke was issuing from a house when they arrived.
The firefighters used:
- Four sets of breathing apparatus
- Two hose reel jets
- A positive pressure ventilation fan
The kitchen was around 30 per cent damaged by fire and around 60 per cent damaged by smoke.
