Three crews (Broughton, West Ashland, Newport Pagnell) alongside three officers attended.
Firefighters were called to one lithium iron battery on fire within a workshop.
An industrial fire blanket was used by onsite staff to suppress the fire
Firefighters used:
- Four breathing apparatus sets
- One extended hose reel jet
- One main jet
- Fire blanket
- Thermal imaging camera
- Small gear
- Two positive pressure ventilation fans
The battery was removed by firefighters out of the workshop to an external place of safety and placed into a submersion tank.
One adult male received burns to their hands and was handed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
A fire investigation officer was also in attendance.
