Outbuilding fire affecting house

One appliance and crew from Slough, one from Maidenhead, one from Windsor, Tinkers Lane, one from Gerrards Cross and one from High Wycombe attended, along with one officer.

The firefighters located a fire in the roof space of a two-storey detached outbuilding. The incident generated multiple calls to Thames Valley Fire Control Service.

The firefighters used:

  • Four sets of breathing apparatus
  • Two hose reels
  • One hose reel jet
  • One hydrant
  • One gas monitor

The outbuilding was 100 per cent damaged by fire. Two trees were around 70 per cent damaged by fire and a garage was around 30 per cent damaged by fire. A conservatory, and the guttering, windows, and roof space of a house were also affected.

Three LPG cylinders were cooled.
