Two appliances and crews from West Ashland attended, along with an officer.
One car was on its side when they arrived.
The firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment and small gear to release one man, injured. The man was passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
Thames Valley Police also attended.
