One crew from Broughton, one crew from Newport Pagnell and two crews from West Ashland alongside two officers attended a fire at a recycling centre involving an industrial shredder.
Firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
Firefighters remained on site for some time damping down and checking for hotspots using thermal imaging cameras.
One crew from West Ashland then reinspected the site later to make sure there was no further risk. Once satisfied the area was made safe and the facility was handed back to the person responsible for the site. Firefighters also provided safety advice.
