Two appliances and crews from High Wycombe attended.

Firefighters were called to a report of a smell of fuel inside a shop.

The shop was evacuated. The firefighters used:

  • Two sets of breathing apparatus
  • One gas monitor
  • A thermal imaging camera
  • A positive pressure ventilation fan

The cause of the smell was believed to be gas leaking from refrigeration units in a storage area.

The firefighters isolated the units and ventilated the area. They provided advice to one man and one woman, uninjured.
