Two crews from High Wycombe attended a road traffic collision involving two cars.
On arrival, crews assessed the scene, made the vehicles safe and managed hazards, including debris and fluids on the road.
One casualty was trapped inside a vehicle. Firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment and small gear to carry out a controlled extrication, removing the casualty through the roof of the vehicle before handing them into the care of South Central Ambulance Service
The incident was then handed over to police following the completion of rescue operations, with a full road closure remaining in place while emergency services dealt with the aftermath.
