Two crews from Aylesbury, one crew from West Ashland, one crew from Buckingham and one crew from Broughton, along with a turntable ladder from West Ashland and water carriers from Princes Risborough and Kempston, attended a fire at a detached property.
Firefighters used one set of breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and an aerial ladder platform to tackle a fire believed to have started in the loft space.
Crews made steady progress extinguishing the fire and carried out damping down and turning over to prevent re‑ignition.
One resident was treated by South Central Ambulance Service and was taken to hospital.
Thames Valley Police were also in attendance.
