Eight crews attended (two from Aylesbury, one from Leighton Buzzard, Dunstable, West Ashland, Berkhamsted, Hemel Hempstead and Beaconsfield), along with five officers.
Firefighters were called to a roof fire affecting a two-storey building with an adjoining single-storey annex. The UK Power Network isolated the power to the building. Firefighters remained on scene to turn over and damp down the affected areas.
Firefighters used:
- 8 sets of breathing apparatus
- 3 hose reel jets
- 1 main jet
- Aerial appliance (from West Ashland)
- Water carrier (from Princes Risborough)
- Operational Support Unit (from Marlow)
- Incident Command Unit (from Aylesbury)
Thames Valley Police also attended.
One crew from Aylesbury completed a reinspection at 20:57 to check for hotspots.
