One appliance and crew from West Ashland and one from Broughton attended, along with an officer.
Smoke was issuing from a disused building when they arrived.
The firefighters forced entry to the surrounding compound and then used two sets of breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish a small fire on the ground floor of the building.
Thames Valley Police was notified.
