Smoke was issuing from a disused building when they arrived.

The firefighters forced entry to the surrounding compound and then used two sets of breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish a small fire on the ground floor of the building.

Thames Valley Police was notified.

Two appliances and crews from Aylesbury attended, along with an officer.

The electricity supply to the light fitting was isolated.

One appliance and crew from Broughton, one from West Ashland and one from Newport Pagnell attended, along with an officer.

Smoke was in the building when they arrived.

The firefighters used:

  • A positive pressure ventilation fan

The air handling unit was around 50 per cent damaged by fire.

The firefighters isolated the services and ventilated the building.

Smoke was issuing from an industrial unit when they arrived.

The fire was in the freezer unit of a warehouse which measured approximately 150 metres by 150 metres.

The firefighters used:

  • Four sets of breathing apparatus
  • One main jet
  • Two hose reel jets
  • A thermal imaging camera
  • A turntable ladder
  • A positive pressure ventilation fan
  • They isolated the power supply to the affected area

The road was closed while they worked at the scene.

Thames Valley Police also attended.

Two appliances and crew from West Ashland attended a fire located in straw grinder containing approximately four tonnes of bailed straw. A full evacuation was completed. To extinguish the fire and make the area safe firefighters used

  • One fog spike
  • Small gear
  • Thermal imagery camera

Light smoke logging was found in the ground floor atrium of an office block. Firefighters identified a light had blown and isolated the electricity supply.

Three appliances and crew, one from Broughton, West Ashland and Newport Pagnell, attended a fire on the ground floor of a two-story property.  The ground floor of the property was being used for commercial use with fire starting in machinery. To extinguish the fire and make the area safe Firefighters used;

  • Two breathing apparatus
  • One hose reel jet
  • Thermal imagery camera
  • One PPV fan

 

One appliance and crew from Chesham and one from Hertfordshire attended.

A small fire, within the gas oven in the kitchen of a commercial property, was out when they arrived.

The gas supply to the oven was isolated.

Six appliances and crews attended, along with two officers.

The appliances and crews attending were from:

Light smoke logging was found, in the laundry room of a commercial building, when they arrived.

The firefighters used:

  • One hose reel jet
  • A thermal imaging camera
  • Small gear

The fire was contained to the washing machine and had not spread.
