Firefighters were called to a road traffic collsion involving two cars and one large goods vehicle. The large good vehicle had four cylinder tanks and was leaking approx 40% of liquified natural gas due to damage to two of the cylinders.
Firefighters disconnected the electrical valve wiring loom, and used a gas monitor.
A one hundred meter cordon was put in place and lane closures to lane one, two and three by National Highways.
The incident was handed over to National Highways.
