Firefighters were called to two cars involved in a road traffic collision.
One adult male was physically trapped and firefighters carried out a roof removal using hydraulic tools and small gear to release the male and handed them into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
Immediate emergency care was provided by firefighters to a male who had received injuries to his hands, he was then handed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
A full road closure was put in place by Thames Valley Police.
