One appliance and crew from Beaconsfield, one from High Wycombe and one from Gerrards Cross attended, along with an officer.
Smoke was issuing from the bonnet of a van when they arrived.
The firefighters used:
- One set of breathing appratus
- One hose reel jet
- A thermal imaging camera
- Hydraulic spreaders
One lane of the motorway was closed while they worked at the scene.
The van was around 20 per cent damaged by fire.
