Three crews (two from High Wycombe, Thame) alongside an officer attended.
Firefighters were called to and extinguished a van on fire on the hard shoulder.
Two lane closures were put in place.
Firefighters used:
- Two breathing apparatus sets
- One hose reel jet
- One thermal imaging camera
National Highways were also in attendance.
