Two crews from West Ashland and one crew from Broughton attended a fire involving a Agricultural Baler and cut grass.
Firefighters used one set of breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
A full road closure was put in place whilst the fire was extinguished.
Crews remained on scene to damper down and turn over remaining cut grass.
