Three crews attended (Broughton, Newport Pagnell and West Ashland), along with an officer.
Firefighters were called to a car fire in the refuge area of the M1. Two lanes of the motorway were closed to make the scene safe.
Firefighters used:
- one set of breathing apparatus
- one hose reel
- a thermal imaging camera
The incident was left with National Highways.
