One crew from Broughton and one from West Ashland attended a vehicle fire which was well alight on arrival.
The firefighters used two set of breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. They also used a Clay mat to prevent contaminated water entering the drainage system.
Thames Valley Police, South Central Ambulance Service, Milton Keynes Council attended.
The road was closed while the emergency services worked at the scene.
