We’re hosting a firefighter women’s‑only ‘Have A Go’ event at Broughton Fire Station, open to women interested in learning more about the role of a Wholetime Firefighter.
What to expect:
This interactive session will give you an insight into what it takes to become a Wholetime Firefighter in a supportive, women‑only environment. You’ll have the opportunity to take part in our ‘Have A Go’ activities, try out elements of the physical fitness tests, and learn more about the fitness levels required for the role.
You’ll also have the chance to speak directly with experienced firefighters, ask questions, and find out more about the recruitment process and career opportunities within the fire service.

Who can attend:
Open to women aged 17 and over with an interest in becoming a Wholetime Firefighter.
Attendance is strictly limited to individuals who have successfully registered for the event.
We are unable to accommodate children under 17, spectators, family members, or pets.
