High Wycombe Fire Station

High Wycombe Fire Station is positioned on a roundabout in the south of the county. It is located at the junction of the A40 London to Oxford road, with the A404 Amersham to Maidenhead road. The building was officially opened in 1966, and has had various upgrades and renovations to modernise it over the years.

The area served by the station is a mixture of urban and rural, residential and light and medium industrial, motorway to country lane, with sites such as a hospital, schools, shopping malls, stately homes and military sites.

The station has 40 wholetime serving firefighters and the station is available 24/7, 365 days a year, with an On-Call unit which responds to emergencies on a part-time basis. It is also home to two fire appliances, one of which was brand new last year, a 32-metre Scania turntable ladder and a Rosenbauer On-Call appliance.
