High Wycombe Fire Station

High Wycombe Fire Station is positioned in the heart of the town, situated on a roundabout at the junction of the A40 London to Oxford road and the A404 Amersham to Maidenhead road. Serving the community in the south of the county, the station has been a vital part of local emergency response since it was officially opened in 1966. Over the years, it has undergone various upgrades and renovations to modernise its facilities, ensuring it continues to meet the evolving needs of both firefighters and the community.

The area served by the station is a mixture of urban and rural, residential and light and medium industrial, motorway to country lane, with sites such as a hospital, schools, shopping malls, stately homes and military sites.

The station has 48 wholetime serving firefighters and the station is available 24/7, 365 days a year, with an On-Call unit which responds to emergencies on a part-time basis. It is also home to two fire appliances, a 32-metre Scania turntable ladder, rural firefighting unit and a Rosenbauer On-Call appliance.
