Thank you to everyone who took the time to take part in our consultation on proposals for the future of On-Call fire cover in Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes.
We are grateful to all residents, staff, stakeholders and partners who shared their views by completing the online survey, attending focus groups, or speaking to us at our public engagement events. Your feedback plays an important role in helping us understand what matters most to our communities and workforce.
What happens next?
Now that the consultation has closed, all feedback will be independently analysed by ORS (Opinion Research Services), our external research partner.
ORS will review feedback from:
- the online consultation survey
- focus groups
- feedback gathered at our public engagement events
- Written submissions received during the consultation process
Using an independent organisation helps ensure the findings are impartial, robust and accurately reflect what people have told us.
How your feedback will be used
The independent report produced by ORS will be used to help shape the final On-Call Improvement Programme proposal.
This final proposal will then be presented to the Fire Authority for approval in March.
Publishing the findings
We are committed to being open and transparent. The Fire Authority papers, including the final On-Call Improvement Programme proposal and a summary of the consultation feedback, will be published in advance of the Fire Authority meeting and made publicly available.
These papers will explain how the feedback received during the consultation has been considered and used to inform the final proposal. This means the public will be able to view the information at the same time as Fire Authority Members, ahead of the meeting in March.
