Two appliances and crews from Aylesbury attended.
Smoke was issuing from the house when they arrived.
The located a fire in a cupboard under the stairs of a two storey house.
The firefighters used:
- Two sets of breathing apparatus
- One hose reel jet
- One covering jet
- A positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear the smoke
- A thermal imaging camera
- A short extension ladder
- Small gear
The ground floor of the house was around 10 per cent damaged by fire and 100 per cent damaged by smoke. The first floor was around 100 per cent damaged by smoke.
The electricity provider and gas provider also attended to isolate supplies to the house.
