Six appliances and crews attended at the height of the fire, along with two officers.
The appliances and crews attended from:
- West Ashland
- Buckingham
- Bedfordshire
- Northamptonshire
A shed was well alight when they arrived and generating multiple calls to Thames Valley Fire Control Service.
The firefighters used:
- Two sets of breathing apparatus
- Two hose reel jets
- One main jet
- A turntable ladder
- A short extension ladder
- A thermal imaging camera
The fire also affected a conservatory, and a neighbouring house.
The conservatory was 100 per cent damaged by the fire. The rear of the neighbouring house was around 20 per cent damaged by fire. Two houses were affected by smoke logging to the roof space.
The firefighters installed smoke alarms and carried out incident ground re-inspections overnight to check for hot spots.
