One appliance and crew from Newport Pagnell, two from West Ashland, one from Olney, along with three officers attended.
A roof with solar panels was well alight on arrival.
The firefighters used:
- Four sets of breathing apparatus
- Two hose reel jets
- Turntable ladder
- A thermal imaging camera
100 per cent of the roof was destroyed by the fire.
The fire also spread to the loft space of a nearby house and was 25 per cent damaged by the fire.
Solar panels on both properties were isolated.
They reinspected the property in the evening.
