Two appliances and crews from Aylesbury attended.
A fire was located within a fireplace which had spread to structural beams in the lounge of the property.
The firefighters used small gear, water backpacks and a thermal imaging camera.
They also carried out a Home Fire Safety Visit.
A reinspection of the property was carried out in the afternoon to check for hotspots.
