One appliance and crew from Broughton, three from West Ashland, one from Leighton Buzzard, along with two officers attended.
Smoke was issuing on arrival, the fire was located on the first-floor bedroom of a two-storey property.
The firefighters used:
- Four sets of breathing apparatus
- One main jet
- A thermal imaging camera
- Short extension ladder
The first floor was approximately 70 per cent damaged by smoke and fire.
An e-scooter was removed from the property.
The firefighters carried out a reinspection in the early hours of the morning to check for hotspots.
