One appliance and crew from Broughton, one from Newport Pagnell and one from West Ashland attended, along with an officer.
They located a small fire the kitchen of a flat on the fourth floor of four storey-building.
The third and fourth floor of the building were evacuated.
The firefighters used:
- Four sets of breathing apparatus
- Two main jets
- A positive pressure ventilation fan
The flat was around 10 per cent damaged by fire, and around 50 per cent damaged by smoke.
