Two crews from West Ashland attended.
A fire was located within a bedroom on the first floor of the property.
The firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, a thermal imaging camera and a positive pressure ventilation fan.
They also provided immediate emergency care to a woman and carried out a Home Fire Safety Visit.
A reinspection was carried out later that evening to check the property for hot spots.
