Fire in a first-floor bedroom at the rear of a two-storey house.

The firefighters used:

  • Two sets of breathing apparatus
  • Two hose reels
  • One main jet
  • A positive pressure ventilation fan

The bedroom was destroyed by the fire. The rest of the house was around 75 per cent damaged by smoke and around 50 per cent damaged by water.

The firefighters provided advice and helped remove property from the affected rooms.

The Emergency Response Crew from the British Red Cross also attended.

Two appliances and crews from Hertfordshire and one from Gerrards Cross attended, along with an officer.

The fire was in the bedroom of a detached house.

The firefighters used:

  • One covering jet
  • Two thermal imaging cameras
  • A positive pressure ventilation fan

The fire also affected the loft space of the property.

One appliance and crew from High Wycombe, one from Beaconsfield and one from Amersham attended, along with two officers.

Smoke was issuing from the rear of a building when they arrived. The fire was in a first-floor bedroom.

The firefighters rescued one man, injured, and provided him with immediate emergency care for burns and the effects of breathing in smoke. He was passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

The fire was caused by an unattended, lit, cigarette and caused smoke logging throughout the property.

The fire was in a bedroom within a first-floor maisonette.
