Firefighters were called to a two storey mid terrace kitchen fire there was light smoke coming from a dishwasher.
Firefighters removed the dishwasher to the garden and used a hose reel jet to extinguish.
Firefighters used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the property of smoke.
