Four crews (Beaconsfield, High Wycombe, Slough, Maidenhead ) alongside an aerial appliance from High Wycombe and three officers.
Firefighters were called to a fire involving a single-storey detached bungalow, approximately 20 by 30 meters in size, with an attached outbuilding. Upon arrival, firefighters found the outbuilding fully involved in fire. it was 100% destroyed by the fire.
The fire had spread to the bungalow, causing damage to approximately 20% of the roof structure. The outbuilding was 100% destroyed by fire.
Firefighters used:
- 3 hose reel jets
- 1 main jet
- 1 breathing apparatus set
- Thermal imaging camera
- Aerial appliance
Gas and electrical supplies to the property were safely isolated by firefighters to ensure scene safety.
Crews remained on site for an extended period to damp down and monitor for hotspots, ensuring the fire was fully extinguished.
A fire investigation officer also attended the incident.
Re-inspections were conducted throughout the evening by a crew from Beaconsfield to ensure no re-ignition occurred.
