A single-storey detached commercial building, measuring around 20m x 30m and containing five individual units, was on fire when they arrived.

They used:

Thames Valley Police also attended to help manage a scene cordon and help to close four roads to enable firefighters to establish a water shuttle. The roads have now been reopened.

The building was around 90 per cent damaged by fire, and 100 per cent damaged by smoke.

Firefighters are expected to remain on scene into today (Friday 22 August) to monitor the scene and damp down any hot spots.
