Fire in first-floor maisonette

Two appliances and crews from West Ashland and one from Buckingham attended, along with an officer.

Smoke was issuing from the building when they arrived.

The firefighters used:

  • Two sets of breathing apparatus
  • One hose reel jet
  • One main jet
  • Two thermal imaging cameras

One woman was out of the maisonette when they arrived. She was treated by South Central Ambulance Service for the effects of breathing in smoke.

The maisonette was around 90 per cent damaged by fire.
