One crew from Amersham and one from Gerrards Cross attended.
A fire was located within a ground floor conservatory, but was out on arrival.
The firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a positive pressure ventilation fan to help clear smoke.
They also provided immediate emergency care to a man.
