One crew from Buckingham and one from West Ashland attended a fire in the kitchen of a two‑storey domestic property.
Firefighters found a small fire in the kitchen, which had spread from a cooker to a microwave and other electrical appliances.
Crews used two sets of breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. A positive pressure ventilation fan was then used to clear smoke from the property.
The area was made safe, and firefighters remained on scene to carry out a full home fire safety check. As part of post‑incident activity, fire safety leaflets were delivered to neighbouring properties.
